Have old greeting cards?

I love the bright shiny foils, fun images, beautiful graphics that come on those expensive greeting cards.  I feel pangs of guilt (as a hoarder) to throw them out.  So here is how I like to re purpose cards into something useful and not just throw them away or recycle them.

These bookmarks were cut with scalloping scissors and laminated in packaging tape to make them sturdy. I took a hole punch and added a home made tassel made out of yarn.  Some were donated to the Little Free Library and some I kept to give away to friends.  They would make great additions to goody bags for birthday parties too!
